"Service" refers to the ColdPlane data archiving and query platform, including the web dashboard, CLI tool, and API, accessed via the Site.

Information You Provide

When you register for an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. If you subscribe to a paid plan, we collect billing information through our payment processor. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.

Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Service, we automatically collect Non-Personal Information including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and usage patterns such as query frequency and storage metrics. We use cookies and similar technologies to collect this information.

Your Archived Data

When you use the Service to archive databases, the archived data is stored in encrypted form on secure cloud infrastructure. We do not access, analyze, or use the contents of your archived data except as necessary to provide the Service (e.g., executing queries you initiate).

• Tenant isolation ensuring your data is accessible only to your account

While we use commercially reasonable efforts to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

IV. Data Retention

Your archived data is retained for as long as your account is active and you choose to maintain it. Upon account deletion, we will delete your archived data and Personal Information within 30 days. Billing records may be retained longer as required by applicable law.

You have the right to:

• Request correction of inaccurate Personal Information
• Request deletion of your Personal Information and account
• Export your archived data at any time through the CLI or API
• Opt out of promotional communications

Please note that even if you opt out of promotional communications, we may still send you administrative messages related to your account and the Service.
